Transportation revenues are now expected to total $8.704 billion in 2025–27, $10.491 billion in 2027–29, and $9.965 billion in 2029–31. For 2025–27, the forecast is just $971,741 lower than was forecasted in June. However, compared to the February forecast, on which the 2026 supplemental transportation budget was based, the new forecast for 2025–27 is down $36.6 million.
Further, the 2026 supplemental balanced over three biennia, through 2029–31. Over this period, revenues are now expected to be $600.3 million lower than forecasted in February. (Compared to the June forecast, the new forecast for the three-biennia period is down $165.7 million.)

Total inflation-adjusted transportation revenues are forecasted to be 5.6% higher in 2037 than in 2026. However, inflation-adjusted motor vehicle fuel tax revenues are forecasted to decrease by 11.4% over the period. Electric vehicle fees are expected to help offset losses from the motor vehicle fuel tax, but combined total revenues from the gas tax and electric vehicle fees are estimated to decrease by 0.9% from 2026 to 2037.
